Scores for our latest match

Equipment Needed:

1. Shotgun 10 gauge through 410, can be side-by-side, over under, pump, or semi-automatic.
2.  Minimum of 50 rounds. Any kind of shot shell can be used except buck shot and slugs. You can use 3 inch magnum duck loads or light target loads.

We have shooters that shoot shotguns ranging in price from $200 to $7000.  The only difference between the 2 guns is the price.  Either gun will do the job.  To say which kind of gun to buy and what kind of shotgun shell to use would only make matters worse.  Keep in mind the following things when purchasing a gun: (1) Price, (2) Manufacturer, (3) What will you use it for, hunting, skeet shooting, etc. (4) The weather you will be using it in. (5) Will this be your only gun that you will purchase in your lifetime.  Remember the type of gun to buy is up to the shooter.  It's like buying a car. Just make sure that it feels comfortable.

The match usually takes between two and three hours depending on the number of shooters. There is a $5.00 fee for a round of 50 shots or if you just want to shoot 25, it is $2.50. Fees for non-club members are $10.00 for 50 shots and $5.00 for 25.

Shooters go to the line. You can tell the puller how you want the birds thrown, single or double. The clay bird targets are thrown from one position with shooters taking positions in cages.
