SO YOU WANT TO LEARN MORE ABOUT BULLSEYE
Bullseye league starts first Monday in April and ends the last Monday in March. You may fire iron sights or use a scope or both. The 600 match starts on the hour at 5pm with the last match starting at 8pm. This is shot at our indoor range.
Equipment needed:
1. Any semi-automatic pistol or revolver equipped with any sights. In .22 cal rim
fire, .32 caliber and up, or center fire. No magnum loads are allowed.
2. Minimum of 60 rounds of ammunition.
3. Ear and Eye protection.
4. Spotting scope helpful but not necessary.
Come out and observe or participate. We look forward to having you come out and join us!
If you are coming as a visitor or a probationary member, please inform the range officer.
Sign up sheets are provided to sign up for matches of the evening, plus matches on
following evenings, advance signups are also taken by phone. You may sign up for
only one time slot per evening. If you wish to shoot additional matches that evening,
there is a waiting list. This gives everyone a chance to shoot at least one time. There is
a $5 fee per relay for members as imposed by the Board of Trustees ($20.00 for non-members).
All firing is done at 25
yards, targets are scored after every 10 shots.
There are three segments to the shoot:
1. Slow fire: Two
strings of 10 rounds are fired over a 10 minute period on B-16 targets.
2. Timed fire: 4 strings of 5 rounds per string. Each string is fired in 20 seconds
on B-8 targets.
3. Rapid fire: 4 strings of 5 rounds per string. Each string is fired in 10 seconds
on B-8 targets.
Bullseye 900 (Indoor)
The Bullseye 900 meets are basically the same as bullseye 600 except there are only two matches per evening with each match firing 90 rounds. Each relay lasts about 1 1/2 hours. 30 shots slow fire on the B-16 target and 30 shots timed fire and 30 shots rapid fire on the B-8 target. The 900 match starts at 6:00pm with a second and final relay starting at 7:30 pm. There is a $5 fee per relay as imposed by the Board of Trustees for members ($20.00 for non-members). All firing is done at the indoor range at 25 yards.
